Off and racing

With the Spring Racing Carnival well underway here in Melbourne, thoughts naturally turn to pretty dresses, heels and hats to wear to the races. It can be tricky to find an individual outfit, as everyone tends to be shopping in the same place. I turned to Etsy to find some things that might make me stand out amongst the other filly’s….

I found this gorgeous store called Percy Handmade, which is created by Tania in Canberra. She features beautiful feminine belts, facinators, hairclips and clutches which she hand makes out of silks, chiffon’s and organza’s. Here are a few of my favourite pieces below:

Perfect for Derby Day, you could add it as a brooch to the front of your dress, pin it on your clutch or even use it as your hair accessory.

I think this stunning sash/belt is intended mostly for bridal wear (which would look amazing!), but it would work so well around any spring racing dress, and I want to belt it around a crisp white shirt for evening.

These clutches are devine! As Tania makes each item once ordered, I believe you can request which colour you would prefer (Ivory, Cream, White). I just love the fact that the colour is so neutral you could wear it with almost anything, yet the different textures make them so unique and interesting.

She has so many more gorgeous things, prices are very reasonable and she has a perfect feedback score, so why not have a browse and support our Aussie talent!
